www.asexuality.org/en/index.php?/topic/58166-has-medicine-gone-too-far/ ...I'm almost glad that other things are too stressful and upsetting for me to feel much extra unhappiness right now. Because both the OP and a number of the replies contain copious amounts of fail. Do ANY of these people consider that a major reason that it sucks so much to have a major disability is because people are such total douchewagons about it? What would it take for people to put two and two together and try just a little bit NOT to make things worse? I... I can't even make a proper rant of this. The thing speaks for itself. It's too disgusting for words.

"One of my major problems with modern medicine is that it allows people with otherwise fatal conditions to reproduce. I don't have a problem with people having kids if they're unhealthy as long as their condition can't be passed on to their kids, but sometimes it is hereditary and extremely likely that their kids will inherit it, too.
I know that sounds bad, but Ijust want a really healthy population. I wish we would allow nature to take its course and weed out some of the bad stuff, you know?"
This.. I can't handle that comment. I know this isn't physical but I have major depression and an eating disorder, so because any kids I may have might possibly have those traits, I shouldn't be allowed to do something that may fulfill my life? Something that might actually help me if I was still struggling with those when I came of a good age to have kids for me? I have nothing else to say I'm speechless -_-;
