There's a paper written by Kristin Scherrer entitled Coming to an Asexual Identity: Negotiating Identity, Negotiating Desire. I have a burning need to read this paper, because it looks extremely relevant to my interests.
Unfortunately my university does not have access to the journal it's published in, and I am kind of reluctant to pay the $25 for one day of accessing its content. I don't suppose aces at any other universities do have access to this journal? It was published in Sexualities in October 2008; Volume 11, Issue 5, p. 621-641.
I have another piece by her that I was able to access entitled What Asexuality Contributes To The Same-Sex Marriage Discussion (February 2010) that I found really interesting, and I really would like to read this other piece if someone has access to it.
Sciatrix, I have it! Saved it in PDF. If you PM me an email address I can send it to you? Unless you have another idea! I haven't read it yet - far too busy reading articles on Virginia Woolf to read anything actually interesting - but it looked good.
