Taking Human Sexuality is usually fun. Today, mind you, we started the "challenges to sexual functioning" unit, and we're getting into HSDD and SAD again. Mostly I'm just feeling cranky and frustrated and angry.
(And I got a bit from the teacher that "if this isn't a problem, it's not a disorder for you!" Which doesn't help, because that isn't the problem with these diagnoses. Especially when you then go on to say things like "treatment is really difficult" and "it's really hard to fix this.")
Also fun: the new DSM changes are pretty much no improvement at all, in case anyone was wondering. Man, do I have the stabby pain today. I probably should have skipped today; it's not like I need to learn this particular material at all.

You have my sympathies, and if you were here with me now I would offer you some of my rhubarb pie that is not too sweet, but just the right amount of bitterness. Iit might make you feel better emotionally because it is yummy and would be a physical manifestation of my caring (equivalent to a hug but better tasting and more filling, shall we say).
